Profile

Eric has been a dedicated financial services professional with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management since January 1994. He has spent over twenty years assisting clients with their investment, lending and planning needs. A complementary area of focus for Eric is assisting those in transitions. This can be due to the loss of a spouse, divorce, retirement, inheritance, sale of a business or any life event that could potentially impact their current situation.

Building strong client relationships is one of Eric's goals and he offers both the intimacy and personalized attention of a boutique and the global resources of one of the worlds largest financial services firms. By partnering with Bank of America banking and Merrill specialists as well as clients other professionals such as attorney, CPA, or tax specialists, he helps clients establish appropriate financial strategies and track the efficiency of their portfolios.

As part of the Merrill Investment Advisory Program, Eric is a qualified Portfolio Manager who in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, can help clients pursue their objectives by building and managing his own personalized or defined strategies, which may incorporate individual stock and bonds, Merrill model portfolios, and third party investment strategies. When servicing clients through the firm's Investment Advisory Program, a Portfolio Manager may manage his strategies on a discretionary basis.

Eric is a 1982 graduate of the University of Washington, with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Building Construction. He earned a Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A.) in 1988 from Seattle University where he received the Presidents Award for Academic Excellence.

Professional certification includes: a Certified Investment Management Analyst®, CIMA® designation, a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, CDFA® professional designation. Eric has also been invited by Merrill and completed several financial certificate programs offered by The Wharton School. In developing strategies and recommendations for individuals, entrepreneurs, their families and their businesses, Eric's goal is to become a trusted resource to clients so that they may rely on him for financial advice and guidance in their pursuit of personal, and professional success.

Our most deeply held principle at Merrill is that clients come first and Eric is proud to be part of that tradition by always acting honestly, with integrity, and in the best interest of clients.

Data provided by SHOOK® Research, LLC. Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisors ranking was developed by SHOOK Research and is based
on in-person, virtual, and telephone due diligence meetings to measure best practices; also considered are: client retention, industry
experience, credentials, review of compliance records, firm nominations; and quantitative criteria, such as: assets under management
and revenue generated for their firms. Investment performance is not a criterion because client objectives and risk tolerances vary, and
advisors rarely have audited performance reports. SHOOK’s research and rankings provide opinions intended to help investors choose the
right financial advisor and are not indicative of future performance or representative of any one client’s experience. Past performance is
not an indication of future results. Neither Forbes nor SHOOK Research receive compensation in exchange for placement on the ranking.
