She has the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., and the C(k)P® Certified 401(k) Professional Designation from the Retirement Advisor University, Inc. in collaboration with UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Education. Additionally, Shannon is a Retirement Benefits Consultant and has the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist, CRPS® designations.
Shannon is a specially qualified Portfolio Manager that can help clients pursue their objectives by managing on a discretionary basis her own Personalized or Defined Strategies, which may incorporate individual stocks and bonds, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management model portfolios, and third-party investment strategies.
Shannon was born and raised in the Seattle area, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Psychology and Sociology from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. Upon graduating in 2004, Shannon relocated back to Seattle and immediately began her career at Merrill. She lives in Mercer Island with her husband and three children. As a Wealth Management Advisor, her areas of concentration include corporate retirement plans, individual retirement and wealth management strategies, cash flow, and liability management.
