With over 30 years of advising experience, Sean is a Senior Vice President, Wealth Management Advisor, and founder of Kelly, Frauenholtz & Associates. Serving individuals, families, and nonprofit organizations, Sean supports his accomplished clientele by implementing deliberate investment strategies to work toward their financial goals.
A firm believer that no two people or portfolios are the same, Sean is attuned to the distinctive needs of the clients he serves, including business owners, executives, multigenerational families, and nonprofit institutions. Within his team, Sean focuses on portfolio design, tax-intuitive investing, and charitable giving strategies. He believes the range of capabilities offered by Kelly, Frauenholtz & Associates differentiates their services. These include access to alternative investments, pre-business-sale planning, and customized lending for a vast array of client needs, including financing opportunities through Bank of America.
Sean joined Merrill in 1993 after receiving his bachelor’s degrees in economics and European history from the University of Pennsylvania. A second-generation Merrill Advisor, he is proud of his team’s legacy of service. Committed to professional excellence, Sean holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation and the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® designation from the Investments and Wealth Institute.
Sean is an involved member of the Rotary Club of Everett and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Snohomish Education Foundation. He and his wife Lisa have three adult children and reside in Snohomish. Outside of the office, Sean enjoys fishing, kayaking, and spending time outdoors in remote British Columbia.
