He seeks to be a source of calm for clients as he helps them navigate the financial complexities of their busy contemporary lives.
Ed’s investment approach is tailored to his clients’ needs. As a qualified Portfolio Manager within Merrill, he constructs his own portfolios primarily comprised of carefully selected third-party managers.
Ed earned a B.S. degree in chemistry at the University of Washington, paying for his education through a variety of jobs including door-to-door book sales. He graduated with honors from the Pacific Coast Banking School. Throughout his career, he has pursued professional credentials that he believes add value for clients. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) charterholder and holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) designation.
Ed appreciates the importance of a robust, affordable healthcare system. He was the beneficiary of public healthcare following a life-changing bicycle accident in college.
