Michael M. Moore, CFP® has been a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management since 2000. Michael is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
As a Merrill financial advisor, Michael works with individuals and families helping them to develop and implement financial strategies that address their individual financial and life goals. Utilizing a defined process, he focuses on each clients’ short and long-term objectives in the areas of investment portfolio development, education funding, retirement income strategies, life and long term care insurance. Michael works closely with his clients' other trusted advisors including attorneys and accountants to address their tax, trust, charitable and estate issues. Michael periodically reviews each clients’ progress to ensure their strategy remains focused on their goals and keeps up with changes in their lives.
Michael lives in Loudoun County with his wife and son. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech where he studied international affairs, political science and economics. He has also completed the Financial Planning Certificate program through Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Business.
