Peter Nguyen

With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Peter joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2018 to help develop strategies and provide advice for individuals, their families and their businesses.

Before joining Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, Peter spent over two decades on the trading floor at a number of global investment banks, including Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse and Merrill. As a Managing Director from 2004 to 2015, Peter led several teams serving institutional investors in fixed income derivative sales and trading. Peter received his MBA from Cornell University and a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia.

As a native Virginian, Peter returns to the Washington D.C. metropolitan region to raise his family and pursue an endeavor in helping individual investors. He and his wife both attended Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology and are thrilled to be returning back to the area with their identical twin girls. He is a self-described “foodie” and novice wine connoisseur, and in his spare time, he enjoys golfing, cycling, fly fishing and playing squash. In his community, he serves as a Board Member for the Northern Piedmont Community Foundation and the TJ Partnership Fund.
