Cass uses his diverse background to help clients clarify their tolerance for risk and focus on their goals. Cass believes people are more likely to be satisfied and successful when they build on their personal values. He helps clients design and administer financial programs that reflect their commitments. Statistical models and other strategies are used that balance financial risks and anticipated returns to match the client's profile and needs. Regularly scheduled reviews help insure that the program stays on track and is current with changes in the client's life circumstances.
“Being an effective advisor means appreciating a client’s concerns and challenges,” Cass points out, “Many clients are selling a business and eyeing the next opportunity – others are moving closer to retirement, or moving closer to family. As they enter a new life stage, whether as a business owner, entrepreneur, widow, retiree or divorcee, some worry about their identities and quality of life. Investment performance is important, but creating a thoughtful goals-based strategy and helping a client feel comfortable with it is critical."
I follow the deep-seated Merrill tradition of participating in the communities we serve. This drives my interest in spending time volunteering with organizations in our community.
Communication is instrumental to managing life's challenges. That's why I work to engage you and your family in the financial decision-making process. Communicating openly with family members on the sometimes-difficult subject of wealth can be a challenge. I can help facilitate these discussions and offer personalized financial strategies designed to educate the younger generation about how assets may be invested.
