Loren has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP® certification, awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation and the Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) designation. She holds a Master's of Business Administration from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia and a Bachelors of Arts from the University Of Alabama.

She is a past Board Chairperson of The American Heart Association and led three sell-out Go Red for Women Luncheons in 2015, 2016 and 2017. She also participates in the annual Festival on the Brazos. Recently, Loren has joined the board of the Waco Sports Commission and also serves on the Capitol Campaign Committee for Waco Family Medicine.
