Chris Campbell focuses on helping families manage significant wealth, oftentimes after the sale of a closely-held business or other meaningful liquidity event. He applies his wealth management experience to constructing, implementing and reviewing strategies designed to pursue the unique objectives of high-net-worth families in the areas of investments, tax minimization, wealth transfer and retirement planning.
Prior to joining Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2011, he advised domestic clients as an investment manager with Morgan Stanley, where he focused on constructing equity, fixed income, and alternative investment portfolios, as well as assisting clients with concentrated equity positions.
He earned a Master of Science degree in Finance from University of Dallas where he was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, Sigma Iota Epsilon, and managed the energy sector equity allocation for the Student Managed Investment Fund under the university endowment. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Southern Methodist University.
Outside of the office, Chris enjoys outdoor activities such as boating, hiking, and cycling, and has a keen interest in international travel.
My mission, first and foremost, is to understand you and what matters most to you. Armed with that information I can ask thoughtful questions -- listening carefully, then understanding in detail where your wealth stands today and where you'd like it to be tomorrow. I help you design and implement a personalized plan intended to help you and your family pursue financial goals while helping manage investment risk. My approach is to focus on potential solutions that can help turn goals into reality.
