Philip Gibbs,
Financial Advisor
Philip Gibbs is a native of Austin, where he attended Austin High and the University of Texas, earning a BBA in Finance. He spent many years as a musician, performing about 3,000 times in 35 states, selling thousands of recordings and generating radio airplay around the world, but at times also worked in other fields, including investment reconciliations, accounting and banking. In 2018, he began working as a stock trader at Fidelity, and in 2019, as a workplace planning consultant. In January, 2020, he was glad to move home to Austin and join Merrill's Financial Advisor Development Program, and enjoys working with his clients to help them achieve their goals. In 2021 he completed his training for and earned the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.
