I have always believed that the most meaningful work is helping people build better futures.
Before becoming a financial advisor, I spent more than a decade teaching English at Cooper High School in Abilene. While the subjects I teach have changed, the heart of my work remains the same. As a teacher, I helped students develop skills that would serve them for a lifetime. Today, I help individuals, families, and business owners develop the financial habits, strategies, and plans that support the lives they want to build.
I work with people who are driven, thoughtful, and committed to improving their futures. Many of my clients are business owners, attorneys, and medical professionals who recognize that success is not just about earning more money. It's about using resources wisely, avoiding costly mistakes, and creating opportunities for the next generation.
My goal is simple: to be the advisor my clients call before making major financial decisions. Whether we're discussing retirement, a business transition, a significant purchase, tax planning opportunities, or family legacy goals, I want my clients to know they have a trusted partner in their corner.
Outside of work, I serve on the board of the Presbyterian Medical Care Mission in Abilene and enjoy life with my wife and our two young children. Friends would describe me as driven, insightful, and quick to find humor in almost any situation. I believe financial planning is serious work, but that doesn't mean we have to take ourselves too seriously along the way.
After more than a decade as an educator, I realized what I enjoyed most was helping people understand complex topics, make informed decisions, and build confidence in their future. Financial planning offered an opportunity to continue that work with individuals and families facing some of the most important decisions of their lives. Today, I bring an educator's mindset to every client relationship. My goal is not simply to provide recommendations, but to help clients understand the "why" behind them so they can move forward with clarity and confidence.
