“Clients underestimate risk in their lives,” Lisa says. “They may have millions of dollars but lack a basic will or adequate types of insurance. Having worked in large corporations, I know that success is determined in great part by a Chief Financial Officer. I do everything possible to fulfill that role for my clients – handling anything with a dollar sign attached to it and giving clients advice on how to manage wise decisions.. Working with clients’ other advisors, I also coordinate efforts across tax-minimization and estate planning strategies.”

Asking questions, she looks to identify goals and holes in their financial pictures, “What’s the purpose of your wealth? How do you handle debt? Who are you responsible for? Why have you come to me? And what role would you like me to play?”

She also walks clients through Social Security, Medicare and long-term care considerations.

Incorporating strategic and tactical asset allocation guidance from the Chief Investment Office, she leverages the depth and flexibility of Merrill’s investment platform to help achieve an efficient portfolio return that can seeks to minimize volatility and a desirable risk-adjusted return. Analyzing metrics and the markets, she often uses various asset classes including equities, bonds and ETFs including fixed-income instruments to help them generate income in retirement.
Lisa encourages clients to think of her as a “one-stop” resource for everyday banking, credit and lending solutions. She is happy to handle details on behalf of clients – providing access to checking and savings accounts, credit cards, residential and securities-based lending through Bank of America, N.A.
“I want to help people rest easy with what’s ahead, so they can spend less time worrying and more time living,” Lisa explains.” Whenever possible, I educate clients. They don’t need to know every detail, but they deserve a higher level of understanding of ‘what and why’ we’re doing something.”
Lisa came to Merrill in 2008, after launching her financial career at Banc of America Investment Services in 2003. Previous to that, she enjoyed a career in technology – and AT&T Wireless and Compaq (before it was acquired by HP). Lisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Pace University. Originally from New York City, Lisa is passionate about gourmet cooking, fine dining and playing plenty of tennis.
