Matthew Potter embarked on his journey in the world of finance with an insatiable curiosity and a drive to empower others financially. Born and raised in Morristown TN, Matthew attended high school at Morristown East and then attended East Tennessee State University where he earned his bachelor's degree in political science.
Matthew has been an advisor in the industry for over eight years and he has had the privilege of serving Merrill clients for the last five years. After graduating college and obtaining his investment licenses, Matthew joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, where he quickly established himself as a trusted advisor known for his strategic insights and unwavering commitment to his clients' financial well-being. With a keen understanding of market trends and a focus on behavioral investment counseling, Matthew has guided countless individuals, families, and businesses towards their financial goals.
Throughout his career, Matthew has remained dedicated to continuous learning and staying abreast of industry developments. Matthew earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ designation in 2024 and continues to devote time to learning and improving his craft.
