David Bloom is the Resident Director of Merrill's Media, Pennsylvania office and a financial adviser with over 26 years of experience.  His role is to work with you to help you develop a road map that lays out a clear path to your goals — one that you can follow in the face of the market’s ups and downs.

His process begins with in-depth discussions aimed at getting to know as much as he can about you and your financial life so that he can help you manage both sides of your balance sheet (assets and liabilities) and integrate the various components to function smoothly together.

David earned a bachelor’s degree with honors from Villanova University, a law degree from Widener University Delaware Law School, and I've held the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^™ certification in good standing since January 31, 2000.  He and his family resides in the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District and enjoy spending time in the great outdoors.

David has served his community for over twenty years - both locally and nationally - as a board member of Children's Literacy Initiative, Communities in Schools of Philadelphia, and the Benchmark School in Media, PA.  He has a passion for early education and literacy that is rooted in his childhood experiences.
