My name is Nikesh. I've done quite a bit in my life prior to joining Merrill. While getting my medical degree, I co-founded a startup that created accessibility technology for people with vision impairment and other barriers to receiving written communication. Additionally, I worked for a surgical center on the administrative side. These experiences showed me that my true passion lay in business and finance. While still completing rotations for medical school, I studied for and took my GMAT and was in business school the next year. After getting my MBA from Georgetown University in Washington DC, I worked as a project management consultant on a VA project designed to improve veterans' access to and quality of healthcare. After four years wearing many hats, including leading the quality management team and overseeing the project's $1.5 billion annual budget, I came to Merrill where my goal is to help all my clients build their financial futures on a strong foundation and give them the tools they need to meet all their goals. I love meeting and working with new people all the time and cannot wait to get to know my next client!
