Matthew has more than 25 years experience in the Financial Services industry helping families and small businesses with their financial strategies. Matthew joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management as a Vice President and Wealth Management Advisor in February 2014 and prior to that held a Financial Advisor position with Morgan Stanley since 1998. In 2004, Matthew earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification, in 2007 the title of Associate Vice President, in 2007 the designation of Chartered Financial Consultant® and in 2014 the title Vice President. Matthew Currently holds the FINRA series 7, 31, 66 registrations and Life and Health Insurance licenses.
Matthew is a Cum Laude graduate from Bloomsburg University where he earned two degrees, one in Business Finance and the second in Arts and Science Economics. Matthew also received the Personal Financial Planning Certificate from Moravian College in 2004.
Matthew currently resides in Plainfield Township, PA with his wife, Melissa, and three children, Kailey, Carter, and Trexler. Matthew is a member of the Plainfield Township Lions Club, Slate Belt Chamber of Commerce and has been a volunteer coach for the Green and White Athletic Association, Plainfield Township Athletic Association, and the Wind Gap Athletic Association for the past 10 years.
