Adam is an estate planning attorney by trade and spent nearly ten years running his own successful law firm. During that time, he learned how accomplished individuals think about wealth and make decisions around money, succession planning and leaving a meaningful legacy.
In 2019, Adam joined Merrill, having recognized the possibilities of providing the type of 360-degree wealth planning assistance he had been offering (now in a financial advisory capacity). Adam does not provide legal advice in his role at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management.
Today, Adam is a planning-focused advisor who is devoted to guiding affluent entrepreneurs, business founders, and executives through key financial decisions – for themselves and the people they love.
Leveraging his own knowledge and the extensive research and resources of Merrill and the banking convenience of Bank of America, he is able to help clients save the time and cost of managing multiple advisory relationships, while helping them understand the value of structuring wealth as essential in achieving their goals for financial, business, philanthropy and intergenerational wealth.
Sensitive to client needs, especially during difficult times – the loss of a spouse or job, illness, or when transitioning to retirement – Adam encourages clients to call with questions, even if they’re unrelated to financial matters. He finds that removing clients’ emotional burdens is a necessary step in helping them follow a mutually agreed-upon strategy.
Adam holds a Juris Doctorate from The Touro College Jacob Fuchsberg Law Center. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from University of Scranton where he also played lacrosse. In addition to making fitness and good nutrition a priority, Adam serves his community as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the United Veterans Beacon House. Adam and his wife, Allyson, are the proud parents of two daughters and a son. They reside in Kings Park, New York.

Our long-held belief is that planning is a process, not an event, and certainly not a document. Recognizing that clients can make vastly improved decisions in an environment they understand, we educate and encourage their values-based decisions. Everything we do is based on a client's values, which change far less often than their goals.
