In addition to managing clients’ investments, Julie Gorman, Michael Mattiello, Nicholas Mattiello, and Sharon Myers are devoted to appreciating clients’ personal and financial situations, emotional concerns, and most cherished goals.

“We serve clients with the intent to build intelligent strategies and lifelong relationships,” Julie explains. “We are passionate about working hard and providing genuine value. During our discovery process, we encourage clients to define their vision of a successful life and the meaning they hope to derive from their wealth. Helping clients ‘see around corners’ to illuminate financial opportunities and challenges can relieve financial stress for them and their families.”

Julie, Sharon, Michael, & Nicholas work closely with men and women facing major life transitions, and with busy professionals and non-profit organizations. Through a step-by-step process, clients are encouraged to identify and organize their goals to allow for a broader perspective on their financial world. “A client’s life comes first – their financial picture needs to reflect it,” Sharon points out.

A hallmark of The Gorman Myers Mattiello Group’s approach is helping clients separate essential versus discretionary spending and “working versus non-working” assets. Straightforward recommendations are given to help ensure that clients are living today in a manner that aligns with how they want to live tomorrow. In addition, Julie, Sharon, Mike or Nick have the “difficult conversations” with clients and their families to help them prepare for unexpected events, such as long-term care or the loss of a loved one.
