Eidlin-Kilmer & Associates is a knowledgeable wealth management team located near Rochester, New York. Since 1992 our highly experienced professionals have provided informed advice, guidance, and empathetic service to a varied clientele, including successful business owners, corporate executives and health care professionals. These clients lead busy lives and don’t always have to time to research, develop and regularly review a financial strategy. They turn to us to assist them with customized wealth management aligned with their values and goals. Our services go beyond investing. By providing access to the investment insights of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and the banking convenience of Bank of America, and drawing on our relationship with Bank of America Private Bank (U.S. Trust), we seek to help connect the different pieces of your financial life and become the single source you turn to for your wealth management needs. From our initial meetings to our annual portfolio reviews—and in every interaction in between—our number one goal is to provide the highest level of professional and responsive care. We deliberately keep our financial advisor–to–client ratio low so that we can provide you with individualized service in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our role is to keep you focused on where you want to go, advise you on how to get there and continually remind you of the importance of maintaining a disciplined approach to pursuing your dreams.

About Us
A Client-Centric Approach

In working with clients, we adhere to a disciplined wealth management process. The first step is to learn as much as we possibly can about you. Together, we examine your current financial situation—your assets and liabilities and how your portfolio is structured. More importantly, we also help you articulate the goals you have for yourself and your family and the obstacles you foresee on the path toward those goals. We ask questions about your family—for example, whether you'll be caring for elderly parents or need to put children through college. We also want to know about your career, as well as when you want to retire and how much money you think you'll need.

Based on what you tell us, we develop wealth management strategies aligned with your goals, values and aspirations, as well as your time horizon, liquidity needs and risk tolerance. Our involvement doesn't end there. We have a disciplined schedule for reviews and meetings to help you implement your strategies and track your progress. We also communicate frequently with you outside these reviews to find out what changes have occurred in your life that might call for modifying your strategies.

Collaboration
Teamwork is at the heart of our business. Each of us possesses extensive academic and professional training and experience, which we pool in helping develop strategies customized to your individual situation. We also foster synergy with and among your other professional advisors, working with your attorney, for example, to see that assets are properly titled and that wills, powers of attorney and health care directives are in place. We can coordinate as well with your tax professionals to consider the business and personal tax implications of suggested strategies. This helps us provide you with unified representation in which all participants are working together to guide you toward your goals.

If we aren't able to meet a certain need ourselves, we can draw upon a team of talented financial services professionals with extensive experience and diverse capabilities from around the firm. These include Merrill insurance and wealth structuring specialists and Bank of America trust specialists, as well as the Practice Solutions group, which assists small businesses with debt consolidation, lines of credit and financing for such purposes as office improvement and equipment purchases. We can also provide access to a Wealth Management Lending Officer from Bank of America, N.A., who can provide strategic and personalized home financing guidance focused on your needs.
