In working with clients, we adhere to a disciplined wealth management process. The first step is to learn as much as we possibly can about you. Together, we examine your current financial situation—your assets and liabilities and how your portfolio is structured. More importantly, we also help you articulate the goals you have for yourself and your family and the obstacles you foresee on the path toward those goals. We ask questions about your family—for example, whether you'll be caring for elderly parents or need to put children through college. We also want to know about your career, as well as when you want to retire and how much money you think you'll need.
Based on what you tell us, we develop wealth management strategies aligned with your goals, values and aspirations, as well as your time horizon, liquidity needs and risk tolerance. Our involvement doesn't end there. We have a disciplined schedule for reviews and meetings to help you implement your strategies and track your progress. We also communicate frequently with you outside these reviews to find out what changes have occurred in your life that might call for modifying your strategies.

We also foster synergy with and among your other professional advisors, working with your attorney, for example, to see that assets are properly titled and that wills, powers of attorney and health care directives are in place. We can coordinate as well with your tax professionals to consider the business and personal tax implications of suggested strategies. This helps us provide you with unified representation in which all participants are working together to guide you toward your goals.
If we aren't able to meet a certain need ourselves, we can draw upon a team of talented financial services professionals with extensive experience and diverse capabilities from around the firm.
