Philip has focused his business advising high net individuals and as a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) professional, he advises not for profit 501(c)(3) organizations and individuals with philanthropic interests.
He provides consulting on the best strategies for philanthropic planning, advising on strategies, tools and techniques for charitable giving.
Philip believes it is important to understand client philanthropic goals for family, themselves and society, then designing holistic financial approaches that meet those goals in the most impactful way possible.
He can advise on other important financial matters including exiting business, estate and legacy planning.

Prior to joining Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in May of 2014, Philip was a Director and Investment Representative in the Wealth and Investment Management Division at Barclays. Philip joined Barclays in September 2008 as a result of the acquisition of the U.S operations of Lehman Brothers.
Philip initially joined Lehman Brothers in 1982 and later joined Chase to help start their high net worth brokerage division. Philip returned to Lehman in 2000 where he and his team remained until joining Barclays.
Philip has an MBA in Finance from CUNY Baruch and an undergraduate degree from SUNY Brockport.
He and his wife Georgina live in New York City and Millbrook, NY. They are active participants in various sports, the arts, theatre and philanthropy.
