In his efforts to continually learn and best serve clients, John has been conferred the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst® designation and he utilizes his experience of alternative investments when designing bespoke, multi-asset portfolios for clients that can weather differing macroeconomic outcomes and avoid unnecessary risk. To date, he is one of the youngest CAIA® Charter holders in the nation. Additionally, he holds the Sports & Entertainment Accredited Wealth Management Advisor™ designation and provides comprehensive guidance of trust and estate services, business planning, and retirement benefit planning for high net worth sports and entertainment clients.
As an economics graduate from James Madison University, John gives back to his alma mater by actively serving as a member on the JMU Economics Executive Advisory Board where he works in conjunction with faculty to further the professional development and curriculum of undergraduate economics students.
Presently, John Edelman resides in New York City. When he is not working to solve client’s complex wealth obstacles, John enjoys active hobbies such as marathon running, playing pickup basketball, and walking in Central Park with his golden retriever, Simba.
