Phil continues to attract an impressive clientele that values intelligence and integrity. With an emphasis on wealth planning, Phil brings innovative and pertinent ideas to successful men and women – sports and entertainment professionals, physicians, C-suite executives in technology and other companies, entrepreneurs, and generations of wealthy families residing on both coasts.

With two daughters whom he hopes will become financially astute as adults, Phil is a strong proponent of working with both spouses – encouraging discussions where each can freely express their goals and concerns. As a “young advisor” who can age alongside his clients, Phil finds that serving “the next generation” in clients’ families occurs naturally – whether conversations revolve around their career ambitions, or inheriting wealth and its responsibilities.

In order to build wealth, Phil helps clients understand that a defined process is necessary – one that can create desired results in the long term, given multi-pronged strategies that clients can appreciate and follow. Emphasizing the effects of compounding wealth, mitigating tax consequences (throughout the year), looking at wealth over time, and helping clients prepare for critical financial decisions are all essential to meeting clients’ goals for themselves and the people they love.

When it comes to investing, Phil focuses on asset allocation* based on a client’s risk tolerance, investment timeline and personal objectives. In each portfolio, he may include dividend-paying stocks, technology companies, ETFs and alternative investments** that can offer reduced volatility. When possible, Phil tries to involve clients in the investment process, explaining, “Some of my best ideas come from clients. They may tell me about new technology or socially responsible company. I enjoy sharing ideas, learning and educating.”

Phil also provides clients with access to Bank of America, N.A. for residential, securities-based and commercial lending. In addition, he coordinates with clients’ CPAs and attorneys to align tax minimization and estate planning strategies.

A lifetime learner, Phil finds his rigorous and ongoing industry training allows him to work more thoughtfully and strategically on behalf of clients. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®) certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, as well as the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM designation through the College for Financial Planning. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance from The George Washington University.

High energy inside and outside the office, Phil stays physically and mentally healthy – running, working out, reading and spending quality time with his wife and two daughters. The family resides in Plainview, where Phil generously supports his community. As a testament to Phil’s loyalty, he remains a longtime Jets and Knicks fan.
