Sophia is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^™ professional, Wealth Management Advisor, and First Vice President with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. She has over two decades of experience in the financial services industry, and has been working her “family” of Private Clients for over 20 years.

As a Wealth Management Advisor in Melville, New York, Sophia takes on the responsibility of helping affluent families position their finances for the future. Sophia brings both analytical skills and a deep respect for long-term, client relationships that are, ultimately, always based on mutual understanding and honest communication. Her passion, energy, and enthusiasm for her work are evidenced in the longevity of her relationships; often, the relationships are multi-generational. While Sophia’s primary focus is on investment, retirement income planning, tax-minimization strategies, and estate and wealth preservation goals, she uses the full services of Merrill to provide the specialized services required by sophisticated investors. Sophia has a distinctive process by which she works with each client. Sophia lives in Smithtown, New York with her husband and two children. She has volunteered as a tour guide at the World Trade Center Tribute Center, a non-for-profit organization in lower Manhattan which leads tours at the National World Trade Center Memorial; with the Guide Dog Foundation and its sister organization, America’s Vet Dogs; and periodically engages her family in volunteering at local food banks. Her current hobbies include reading, fishing, gardening, martial arts training, and holding long, philosophical debates with her family.
