Steven has 20 plus years experience in the financial services business. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, Steven traded equities on wall street for the past 16 years. He started his career in Private Banking with Wells Fargo and Bank of New York where he spent 10 years advising high net worth individuals, businesses and foundations with their complex wealth management needs.

Steven works with senior-level financial industry executives, business owners, retirees and non-profit organizations. His approach to wealth management is consultative, taking the time to thoroughly understand each client's unique situation. He provides transparent strategies to help clients preserve and grow their wealth.

He was born and raised in Garden City and attended Garden City High School. He graduated from Rollins College with a BA in Political Science in 1990. He enjoys golf, skiing and paddle tennis and resides in Garden City with his wife Susan and their two children.

Steven is the president and founder of the Paul R. Eckna Foundation, a youth based organization that supports community projects. He is also the President and founder of the Friends of Garden City Football, a booster organization focused on supporting a program that helps athletes excel on the field, achieve in the classroom, and positively impact the Garden City High School and surrounding community.
