Peter Ross has been based in Merrill's Fifth Avenue office since 2004 and focuses on wealthy families with complex financial situations and their trusts. Since 1987, he has worked as a financial advisor to individuals and corporations in a variety of industries. Before joining Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, Peter worked at firms including JP Morgan and Dillon Read with clients in the real estate and hedge fund industries. Peter's career at Merrill began in 1999 advising executives in the media industry.
Peter graduated from Columbia University in 1987, where he earned a BA in Economics. He received his M.B.A. in Finance with honors from Columbia Business School in 1994. Peter holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. and the Chartered Financial Analyst® ® designation.
Peter is an avid supporter of St. Paul the Apostle Church (Manhattan), St. Paul's Methodist Church (Ocean Grove, NJ), The Pennington School, Blair Academy and the Kings Crown Rowing Association.
