For affluent entrepreneurs, physicians, attorneys, accountants, corporate executives, investment bankers, and retirees, the group works hard to educate clients about each component of their portfolios. Accordingly, significant time is spent to deliver a high level of knowledge, as well as service. And rather than making “life-changing” decisions on behalf of clients, the team strives to assist clients in making their own. To offer advice in a productive manner, the group calls upon Merrill Lynch Wealth Management specialists and external experts – along with clients’ tax advisors, attorneys and other professionals.
With its mission of managing wealth with minimal volatility and without undue risk, the group maintains a broadly diversified investment style across asset classes – including stocks and bonds, along with alternative investments. The group meets regularly with selected money managers to review fund performance and discipline.
Many clients have been with the group for decades – others have been recommended by colleagues and family members. The group considers this to be of tremendous personal reward, the result of being involved and in touch with clients’ lives.

For more than 20 years, David has worked directly with business owners and C-suite executives – helping to integrate their cash management, financing and investment needs into cohesive strategies that enable each client to pursue their short- and long-term goals. His approach to wealth management is consultative, objective and committed to excellence.
David is a specially qualified Senior Portfolio Advisor who, in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, can draw from his experience to help clients pursue their objectives by building and managing custom investment strategies, selecting from a wide range of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management model portfolios and third-party investment strategies. When servicing clients through the firm’s Investment Advisory Program, a Senior Portfolio Advisor may manage those strategies on a discretionary basis.
David also holds the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor® (CPFA®), as well as the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorTM (CRPCTM) designations, making him uniquely qualified to assistant individuals and Profit and Non-Profit Investment Committees in planning and advising on proper retirement plan asset allocations and fund selections.
A 1993 graduate of the City University of New York’s Brooklyn College with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, David earned his MBA in Marketing and Finance from the City University of New York’s Baruch College in 2000. David lives with his wife Shoshana, a certified nutritionist, and their seven children in Passaic, New Jersey.

Katalina joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2017 and since then has been providing excellent service to Merrill clients by making sure she goes the extra-mile for each individual client.
Currently she is working with David Bobker and assisting his clients with their daily inquires and trades.
