Amelia Prounis is a Senior Vice President and Senior Financial Advisor of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management at the Fifth Avenue Financial Center complex.
A native New Yorker, she graduated with honors from Wellesley College and she received her master's degree in international business from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University.
Ms. Prounis focuses on portfolio management for high net worth individuals domestically and internationally. She also provides advisory services to small to mid-sized business organizations which include pension funds, endowments, 401K plans as well as private foundations. Other areas of concentration include wealth management planning, residential lending, insurance, and estate planning issues.
Ms. Prounis actively partners with specialists to execute customer needs through Merrill services and strategies. Her experience allows her to aggregate the global capabilities and expansive resources of the firm to offer:

She is a past board member of the Grosvenor Neighborhood House, a settlement house in Harlem. She is also active on the fundraising committees for the Central Park Conservancy, Museum of the City of New York, American Museum of Natural History, the New York City Ballet, and the Chapin School. Ms. Prounis resides in New York City with her husband and two sons. She has been with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management since 1990.
