Michael Swezey

I, along with my team - the Connolly Swezey Wolf Group - focus on delivering a comprehensive approach to managing wealth that begins with listening to a client’s needs and helping to ensure every strategy is grounded in understanding what each client wants to achieve. I am driven by my passion for delivering excellent service and helping clients pursue their goals.

I have many years of experience helping our Merrill clients achieve their financial goals - retirement, college education for children and grandchildren, financial management through good markets and bad. 

I am a retired Brigadier General and formerly was the Commanding General of the New York Army National Guard.  Following my graduation from West Point, I spent the next thirty six years in uniform proudly serving the people of our Nation and State and now I continue to support our currently serving members of the military as well as Veterans and their families.

My wife Ann is a Nurse Practitioner in Troy and we are the proud parents of two sons who currently serve in the United States Navy.

Community involvement is an integral part of how we interact with clients and communities. We are enthusiastically involved with volunteering and fundraising for organizations such as Albany Senior Services, Junior Achievement, The Capital Youth Hockey Association, the North Albany American Legion Post, the Center for Economic Growth and the USS Slater based here in Albany .
