Growing up with a father who was a financial advisor, I learned early on the impact that thoughtful financial decisions can have on an individual's future and a family's long-term success. While he always hoped I would follow in his footsteps, I was determined to carve out my own path. In fact, I often joke that after having him as my dad growing up, I wasn't interested in ever having him as my boss, too. After exploring different career opportunities and discovering what truly motivated me, I realized that building meaningful relationships, helping people navigate important decisions, and making a positive impact in their lives were exactly what drew me to financial advising. Eventually, I granted my dad's wish and joined the profession, only to discover that it was exactly where I was meant to be.
Today, I work with a wide range of clients, including business owners, multigenerational families, and individuals navigating important life transitions. Whether helping someone prepare for retirement, implement tax-efficient strategies, or create a thoughtful estate plan, I believe every conversation should begin with understanding what matters most to that person and the people they care about. My approach is personalized, relationship-focused, and built on long-term trust.
What I enjoy most about this profession is getting to know people and their stories. Clients often tell me that I make financial conversations feel approachable and comfortable, and that's something I take pride in. I've always been a people person, and I believe my empathy, curiosity, and genuine passion for helping others come through in every interaction. My goal is for clients to feel heard, understood, and confident that they have someone in their corner who truly cares about their success.
As a younger advisor, I'm especially excited about the opportunity to build relationships that can span decades. My goal is to help clients navigate not only the opportunities and challenges in front of them today, but also the milestones, transitions, and successes that lie ahead. There is something incredibly meaningful about helping families across generations, and I am grateful for the opportunity to build relationships that can support clients through retirement, their children's milestones, and the many chapters that follow.
One of the greatest blessings of my career has been the opportunity to learn from my dad, who has spent decades serving clients and their families. Funny enough, I've found that I appreciate his advice a lot more now than I did growing up. As he prepares for retirement, I'm proud to continue the relationships and foundation he worked so hard to build while bringing my own energy, perspective, and approach to serving clients.
Originally from Reno, Nevada, I graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor's degree in Public Relations and a minor in Psychology (Roll Tide!). During college, I spent four months studying and living in Florence, Italy, an experience that broadened my perspective and appreciation for different cultures. Outside of work, you'll often find me playing pickleball, reading, traveling, cheering on a good football game, or spending time with my two dogs, Penny, my Silver Lab, and Maverick, my 10-month-old Golden Retriever.
