Jennifer Shydler is a Senior Vice President, a Wealth Management Advisor, and the founder of the Shydler Wealth Management Group at Merrill. Jennifer looks to create lasting value in clients’ financial lives, helping people resolve issues, uncover possible efficiencies, weigh important decisions, and plan for the future. She brings high expectations to her own work and that of her team, fostering an environment that demonstrates each client’s importance through her care, customization, and attentiveness.

Jennifer has earned a number of national accolades for her work, recognition that she believes reflects the caliber and contributions of her team and the clients they are proud to serve:

·         Forbes “America’s Top Women Wealth Advisors,” 2020-2021 (Published annually Feb – April. Rankings based on data as of June 30 –
September 30 of prior year) and Forbes "America's Top Women Wealth Advisors Best-in State" for 2022-2023 (Published annually in February. Rankings based on data as of Sept 30 of prior year).

·         Forbes “Best-in-State Next-Generation Wealth Advisors,” 2019 (Published on September 4, 2019. Rankings based on data as of March 31, 2019)

Jennifer was also recognized with one of Merrill’s most esteemed honors in 2019, the David Brady Award, named for a Merrill employee who lost his life in the World Trade Center attacks of September 11, 2001. The award is given annually to the employee who best exemplifies exceptional commitment to her clients, her team, and the firm.

Clients from varied paths look to Jennifer for assistance. Some are medical professionals who appreciate the time that she creates in their schedules by simplifying the intersection of their personal and professional wealth. Other clients include retirees, women, and widows, who sense Jennifer’s genuine interest in helping them organize their wealth, reduce stress, and grow in confidence as decision makers. Still others include investors who have traditionally managed their own portfolios, but who recognize value in having a trustworthy resource for the years that lie ahead, either to reduce their own time commitments or to nurture a reliable relationship for their loved ones. Finally, nonprofit institutions engage Jennifer’s assistance to support their obligations concerning fiduciary asset management.

Jennifer has significant tenure with the firm—a continuity that helps her connect clients to impactful capabilities, enterprise wide. She began her career with Bank of America in 1999 and has served as a Financial Advisor with Merrill since 2008. Committed to professional excellence, she holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Jennifer has also earned the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorTM and the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor® designations. Within the firm, she is also a Retirement Accredited Financial Advisor. She earned her B.S. in Finance with distinction in Financial Services, Cum Laude, from San Diego State University.

Very active in her community, Jennifer has served as a “Big Sister” for more than 17 years. She also is the Treasurer on the Executive Board of the Tyler Robinson Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports pediatric cancer patients and their families. Eager to give back, she also volunteers with the Three Square Food Bank and teaches a wealth planning course for the UNLV Women’s Research Institute.

A fifth-generation Las Vegan, Jennifer is proud to have put down roots in her home city. She and her husband, Mark Wiley, love spending time with their young son, Andy, who keeps them active, busy, and very happy. In her free moments, Jennifer loves listening to live music, hosting friends at her home, crafting, and traveling. She welcomes the opportunity to trade ideas on new travel destinations and share some of her own favorites—New York City, Maui, and Pacific Beach/San Diego.

of Mar 31 of current year.

Data provided by SHOOK® Research, LLC. SHOOK Research considered women advisors with children living at home under 21 years
of age. The ranking algorithm is based on qualitative measures derived from telephone and in-person interviews and surveys: service

criteria, such as assets under management and revenue generated for their firms. Investment performance is not a criterion because
client objectives and risk tolerances vary, and advisors rarely have audited performance reports. Rankings are based on the opinions
of SHOOK Research, LLC and not indicative of future performance or representative of any one client’s experience. Rankings and
recognition from Working Mother/SHOOK Research are no guarantee of future investment success and do not ensure that a current or
prospective client will experience a higher level of performance results, and such rankings should not be construed as an endorsement of
the advisor. Neither SHOOK nor Working Mother receives compensation from the advisors or their firms in exchange for placement on a
