Jennifer Shydler is a Senior Vice President, a Wealth Management Advisor, and the founder of the Shydler Wealth Management Group at Merrill. Jennifer has significant tenure with the firm—a continuity that helps her connect clients to impactful capabilities, enterprise wide. She began her career with Bank of America in 1999 and has served as a Financial Advisor with Merrill since 2008. Committed to professional excellence, she holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Jennifer has also earned the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorTM and the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor® designations. Within the firm, she is also a Retirement Accredited Financial Advisor. She earned her B.S. in Finance with distinction in Financial Services, Cum Laude, from San Diego State University.
Very active in her community, Jennifer has served as a “Big Sister” for more than 17 years. She also is the Treasurer on the Executive Board of the Tyler Robinson Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports pediatric cancer patients and their families. Eager to give back, she also volunteers with the Three Square Food Bank and teaches a wealth planning course for the UNLV Women’s Research Institute.
A fifth-generation Las Vegan, Jennifer is proud to have put down roots in her home city. She and her husband, Mark Wiley, love spending time with their young son, Andy, who keeps them active, busy, and very happy. In her free moments, Jennifer loves listening to live music, hosting friends at her home, crafting, and traveling. She welcomes the opportunity to trade ideas on new travel destinations and share some of her own favorites—New York City, Maui, and Pacific Beach/San Diego.

He was highly respected for putting the client first and giving back to his community.
