Stephen Smoragiewicz

Steve is a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in their Short Hills, NJ office. Drawing on his 20 years of capital markets experience allows him to provide high net worth individuals and families with advisory guidance and investment management strategies that are necessary due to the complexities of significant wealth. His clients are geographically diverse and include finance professionals, business owners, entrepreneurs, C-suite executives, and those experiencing a life transition. He believes in a proactive approach to working with a client's portfolio and, to borrow a phrase from the great Wayne Gretzky, "skating to where the puck is going not where it has been".

Using the extensive investment resources of Merrill and banking capabilities Bank of America, Steve and his team develop strategies to help their clients meet their short term needs while supporting their vision for long term aspirations. Steve and his team work with individuals and families who have achieved considerable success, helping them become informed stewards of their financial lives and legacies. Over the course of 20 years Steve acquired extensive Wall Street experience working at Morgan Stanley and BNP Paribas before embracing wealth management. He leverages his deep rooted understanding of institutional capital markets to create a differentiated wealth management experience for his clients. 

Steve is a graduate of Providence College where he received his B.S. in Business Management. He is active in several community organizations, including the Summit Lacrosse Club and The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 1246. A native of Massachusetts, Steve resides in Summit, NJ with his wife Amy and their three children.
