After working as a retirement plan specialist for one of the nation’s largest record keepers, and in retail environments at Bank of America and Sprint, Chris arrived at Merrill in 2016 with diverse experiences that inform his perspective today.
Chris serves multiple constituencies – plan sponsors, their employees, and successful individuals and families. When working closely with plan sponsors, he is involved in the creation and management of each plan. He also provides one-to-one employee support and education.
On behalf of individuals, he finds it critical to help clients articulate “the meaning of their money” and what they want their wealth to accomplish for themselves and the people they love.
“When I was 18 years old, my dad strongly encouraged me to participate in my company’s 401k plan. Saving for retirement never occurred to me, but his guidance put me on a path where, decades later, I help clients make smart financial decisions and feel confident about the years ahead,” Chris explains.
Chris is a qualified Senior Portfolio Advisor who can help clients pursue their objectives by managing on a discretionary basis custom investment strategies, selecting from a wide range of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management model portfolios and third-party investment strategies
Chris holds the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor®, CPFA® designation, awarded by the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA). He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Walden University and an Associates degree from Ocean County College.
