Michael V. Donato
Michael Donato is a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in Red Bank, New Jersey. He works with individuals, families and business owners to help them better understand their financial lives, identify what matters most to them and develop personalized strategies designed around their goals. Michael believes that strong financial relationships begin with listening, and he takes a thoughtful, personal approach to helping clients navigate important financial decisions with greater clarity and confidence.
Before beginning his career in financial services, Michael spent more than a decade in the hospitality industry, including serving as an executive chef and helping open and operate restaurants in Monmouth County. His culinary career also took him to Italy, where he spent a year living and working in Parma and Savona. That experience shaped an approach he carries into wealth management today: attention to detail, preparation, discipline and an understanding that every client and every situation is different.
Michael earned his degree in Corporate Finance from Rutgers University and holds the FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 registrations, as well as Life and Health Insurance licenses. He is committed to continuing his professional development while drawing upon the investment insights, research and resources available through Merrill and Bank of America.
