Profile

David Parsekian Prior to joining Merrill in 2012, David enjoyed a career consulting and advising clients on their residential lending needs. Previously, he spent several years in equity research at Solomon Smith Barney and Thomas Weisel Partners. Today, he draws on this background to offer a broad range of services designed to help successful entrepreneurs, individuals and families grow, preserve, and transfer their wealth for the next generation.

Long before he formulates any specific strategies, David spends a considerable amount of time asking questions and deeply listening to clients’ needs, aspirations, and issues in their financial lives. His mission is to learn everything he can about their unique stories and utilize their input to help create customized strategies that reflect their goals and aspirations.

In addition to offering investment advice and guidance, David works with a multidimensional team of specialists to aid him in addressing clients’ unique situations with respect to retirement income planning services; wealth transfer; and trust and estate planning services. He can also provide access to Bank of America’s banking, credit, and lending services.

David earned a B.S. in Finance from Northeastern University in Massachusetts and an M.B.A. from Fordham University in New York City. He holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® CIMA® as well as the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ CRPC™ designation.

David and his wife have three children and reside in Ridgewood. In addition to volunteering with Ridgewood Jamboree, an organization providing needs-based scholarships to college-bound Ridgewood High School seniors, David is a past Board of Adjustment member for the Village of Ridgewood and has donated his time as a Little League Baseball coach. A lifelong skier and an avid golfer, he also enjoys Peloton bike riding. I follow the deep-seated Merrill tradition of participating in the communities we serve. This drives my interest in spending time volunteering with organizations in our community.
