About Us
Our Process for You

Merrill's four-step client process starts the moment we begin to talk about your vision, dreams and goals. We discover who you are and where you want to go.

Establish Objectives

From the beginning, The Slattery Hruby Group seeks to understand your vision as clearly as you do. To help attain this, we meet with you and your family (if you choose) or your business. By intently listening, we develop an accurate picture of your current financial life. We ask questions, sometimes tough ones, to help you express and define where you see yourself, your family, and/or your business in the future. We work to understand your time horizon, risk tolerance, liquidity needs and goals.

Set Strategy

Once your objectives are clear, we suggest a customized wealth management or business strategy to help you pursue them. Your strategy's goal will be to strike a balance between expected performance, risk management, wealth preservation and long-term goals. If you come to us with a portfolio, we'll evaluate your positions, weighing their performance and outlook against your defined goals. We're not looking to change everything: If some of your existing investments fit in your new strategy, and you are happy with them, we may recommend keeping them in place. We will also help identify other opportunities that are consistent with your strategy to help expand your financial horizons.

Implement Strategies

Once we have everything in place, our group will launch your strategy. We are able to recommend strategies from a variety of investment platforms, and we'll suggest the ones we feel are most appropriate for you. In addition, we can offer you independent proprietary portfolios through our resources at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. With the knowledge of Merrill, we have a plethora of choices to help you manage and evaluate your strategies along the way.

Review Progress

We are then able to manage performance reviews that helps you track progress and maintain control over your finances. During this process, we also meet regularly with you to review progress. Our reviews are designed to reexamine your portfolio, and then make any necessary strategic adjustments along with any new goals or objectives you want to pursue. From there, we would meet with you regularly to review your progress. We are able to meet in person at our office, your home or any place where you feel comfortable. We also can be in contact with you via email, phone, mail, or over our secure Web viewer system, WebEx. We have many options to make sure we are easily accessible and at your convenience.
