James Ambrose II, Wealth Management Advisor, CFP^® CIMA^® CAP^®

Jim joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 1998 after practicing law for 5 years. He graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a degree in Finance and a minor in Philosophy. He later received a law degree from Loyola in 1993 and practiced law from 1993-1998 with Kennedy Holland and its successor firm Lamson, Dugan, and Murray. He is a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, the Jesuit Honor Society. Jim is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^™ certificant, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst^® designation.

For the past 6 years he has served as an Adjunct Professor at the Creighton University College of Business Administration, Department of Economics and Finance teaching both undergraduates and MBA candidates. Primarily, Jim counsels families and institutional clients on asset allocation implications, investment manager search and selection criteria, and wealth planning considerations.
