Susan Sorrells is a First Vice President and Wealth Management Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in Asheville, North Carolina. She began her financial services career in 1987 and joined Merrill in 2007. Susan also takes great pride in serving as Resident Director of the Asheville office. She is passionate about supporting, coaching, and mentoring the Financial Advisors and associates in her office. Susan is a member of the Waynesville Rotary Club. She previously served on the Haywood County Community Foundation, the Haywood Community College Foundation Board, and the Haywood Community College Board of Trustees. Susan and her husband, Michael, reside in Waynesville, North Carolina. They have three grown children, Brookely, Jarrett, and West and are the proud grandparents of five grandchildren, Remi, Andie, Hayden, Nash, and Hank and two four-legged family members, Leo (a guard dog) and new addition Stevi (a Golden Doodle Puppy). Life is never dull with the “Grand-crew” and Susan enjoys taking trips and various activities together. Some of her additional pastimes include spending time on Lake Douglas in Tennessee, getting together with friends, visiting new places, and the escape of a good book or movie.
