For 18 years Aren has worked with corporate executives, non-profit organizations, entrepreneurs, and small business owners to optimize all parts of their balance sheet with a focus on enhancing risk adjusted after-tax returns. Aren is passionate about improving experiences and helping clients achieve their financial goals through transparency and fiduciary investment advice using Merrill's Investment Advisory Programs. Our relationships extend from executives at established Fortune 500 companies to universities and non-profit organizations.

After graduating from the George Washington University in Washington D.C. with dual degrees in Economics and International Affairs, Aren began his professional career with Morgan Stanley in 2001 as a financial advisor. In 2003 he joined Tempus Consulting in Washington D.C., focusing on corporate treasury management solutions as a foreign exchange trader. Relocating to Cairo, Egypt in 2008, Aren served as a market analyst for EGid, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Egypt Stock Exchange. Moving back to the United States in 2011, he helped open the Washington D.C. office for Commonwealth Foreign Exchange, specializing in international finance and cross-border payment solutions; representing international non-profit organizations and US based corporations.

Aren joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2018 after moving to Minneapolis, Minnesota with his wife and two children. He currently sits on the The Blake School Alumni Board and is an avid swimmer and triathlete.
