Ryan Eccker

I am a fourth generation Advisor at Merrill. I was born with this industry surrounding me, with my father & grandfather teaching the many lessons that build a great advisor & because of that, I humbly believe that I've come to understand the true significance of my clients when it comes to not just their financial needs, but also the life needs & goals of my clients as well. I began my career with a team of trusted Financial Advisors at Merrill in Grand Rapids, MI as a seasonal intern, fighting to get my foot in the door. Through the years, I've continued to grow & am so proud to say I have worked my way to the current chapter of my Merrill career to become the Financial Advisor I am today!

I studied at Michigan State University heavily in the field of Economics while also focusing on other fields of study such as Psychology, Sociology, and History. I am and always will be a big Spartan fan, and am thankful for the amazing experiences that I had in East Lansing, MI for all of those years.

My goal in life has always been to work with people and to make them feel more confident & happy with whatever it is they need. I've always loved being able to help people and to make a lasting impact on their lives, and that’s the driving force behind my work ethic.

Outside the office, I love to play and watch sports including golf, tennis, football, & basketball. In the winter, you could often find me & my family up at the mountain snowboarding and skiing.
