Mission Statement
The EGE Group believes that good relationships are built through teamwork and involvement, delivered through our advisors, wealth management client associates and access to the global investment capabilities of Merrill and the banking convenience of Bank of America. We want to be your primary source for financial advice and guidance. And we want you to value the dedication and diligence offered to you at each step of the financial planning process.
Welcome

For successful individuals as well as traditional and non-traditional families that appreciate highly experienced and energized financial advisors, The EGE Group blends goals-based wealth management with its disciplined approach to managing investment risk and client expectations.

“We serve people who work hard for their money and don’t want to lose it. Whether they’re business owners, government employees or affluent families, we focus on smoothing the transitions in clients’ financial lives. Clients might be saving for a child’s education or retirement, starting a family or business. Each client deserves a dynamic and personalized process that satisfies them financially and emotionally,” Brian Ewers explains.

The EGE Group enjoys a growing reputation among a loyal and referred clientele that now resides nationwide. Beyond investments and the confines of its office, the team often coordinates with clients’ attorneys and CPAs throughout the year, most frequently on behalf of business owners and family foundations. The team also provides clients with access to residential and custom lending through Bank of America, N.A.

“During initial talks with clients and over the course of each relationship, we need to have a sense of their families and work situations – and, especially, what’s on their minds,” Matt Griggs points out. “Some clients have near-term financial challenges. Others may want dependable streams of income years from now – for themselves, loved ones, or to support a charitable endeavor.”

In customizing a wealth accumulation, preservation, or distribution strategy to address clients’ objectives (most often, for retirement), Brian and Matt begin with “clients’ financial puzzles” – scrutinizing insurance, trust and tax documents, and discussing health care and Social Security issues. While complex financial strategies are often suggested and implemented, the team works to simplify explanations and bring clarity to clients’ financial pictures.

“The benefit of having the right financial advisor can be seen over the long term. By listening, learning and ‘walking next to clients’, we can help them move from Point A to Point B within their specific risk parameters. We aim to provide a level of care that many clients have not found elsewhere,” Brian adds.
