Carson Knight joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management after beginning his advisory career at Morgan Stanley and previously working in investment banking. He graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business with a B.S. in Finance.
Carson is dedicated to advising founders, senior executives, and capital partners whose financial lives are often shaped by business ownership, private investments, and multi‑entity structures.
He has continued to expand his professional expertise by earning the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) designation and the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™, CRPC™ designation. Carson works closely with clients experiencing meaningful liquidity events or transition planning, helping them develop and execute strategies to harvest value from their businesses while coordinating with attorneys, CPAs, and family stakeholders.
Carson currently resides in Rockville, MD with his wife Maggie.
