Sal J. Miletello, IV is a Managing Director and a Wealth Management Advisor in the Shreveport Complex. His career began with Merrill on Feb 1st, 1992 after graduating from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Sal received his Master of Science from Louisiana State University in Leadership & Human Resource Development in 2023. In 2001, Sal earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) certification, administered by the Investments & Wealth Institute™ (The Institute) and taught in conjunction with The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Sal also is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant, awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. in 1998. Sal lives in Shreveport with his wife Kendra. He has four children, Faith, Hope, Samuel and Luke. He is active in contributing time, talent and resources to make a difference in the lives of others. One of the organizations is FDDOC Winners’ Circle, Inc., founded by Kendra and Sal, which is an after school tutoring non-profit serving over 17,000 children to-date. As an Instrument-rated pilot, Sal volunteers for Pilots for Patients, which has flown over 8,500 free flights for medical care in the 17th year of operation. For Sal’s outstanding volunteer service on behalf of Louisiana’s children, he was named one of the 2010 winners of the Angel Award® presented by the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana Foundation. Sal and Kendra are supporters of higher education with a First Time Generation Scholarship to attend LSU of Shreveport matched by the Louisiana Board of Regents, an endowed scholarship for LSU in Baton Rouge, an accounting scholarship for University of Louisiana at Monroe, and a First Time Generation Scholarship for Baylor University. In 2022, Sal was honored as a Champion of Hope for the Shreveport American Cancer Society. Sal has been married for 31 years to his wife Kendra and they enjoy many hobbies together including traveling, relaxing at the lake, attending sporting events, boating and being with their family. I follow the deep-seated Merrill tradition of participating in the communities we serve. This drives my interest in spending time volunteering with organizations in our community.
