Amanda is a graduate of The University of Louisiana at Monroe, with a B.S. degree in Accounting. She has been in the Financial Services Industry since 1989 and joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in January 1996. Prior to joining Merrill, she worked as a Certified Public Accountant and as a Certified Internal Auditor in the Banking Industry. Amanda holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. She is a Louisiana licensed Certified Public Accountant and also holds Series 7 and 66 FINRA registrations. As senior partner of The Hinton – Hinton Team, Amanda focuses on Relationship Management, Business Development, Retirement Planning and Investments. Amanda does not provide specific tax advice in her current role at Merrill. Amanda is the founder of The Lauviah Foundation, Inc., which is a family foundation.
