I am a lifelong resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana. My wife, Brigette Walker Martin, and I have four children (three girls and one son). I am an active member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church and past Vestry member holding the offices of Junior Warden, Senior Warden and Finance Committee Member of the church. Currently I am serving as a board member of the Chennault International Airport Authority. Big game hunting is my biggest passion; I sincerely love and respect the great outdoors. I am a 1980 graduate of Louisiana State University Baton Rouge with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management. I joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2012. With over thirty years of experience in operational and accounting management and ownership within the auto and heavy truck dealership environment, I have a diverse business background which allows me to have the insight into what business owners want and need in structuring their wealth management, estate and business financial concerns.
I follow the deep-seated Merrill tradition of participating in the communities we serve. This drives my interest in spending time volunteering with organizations in our community.

My goal is to thoroughly understand the clients' financial priorities so that I may earn their trust. I do this by listening to the client to fully understand their current situation and future objectives as well as potential concerns. I then create customized financial strategies designed to help them achieve their financial and life goals.
