Hannah Marcolla
Hannah Marcolla is a Team Financial Advisor based in the Quincy, Illinois office. She works closely with the advisor team to help deliver thoughtful financial strategies tailored to clients’ goals, values, and long‑term plans. Prior to joining Merrill, Hannah spent several years at KPMG in St. Louis, where she worked as a CPA and manager. Her background in public accounting provides a strong foundation in tax planning, financial analysis, and problem solving, allowing her to approach client situations with both technical insight and practical perspective.
Originally from Quincy, Hannah is happy to be back in her hometown and enjoys staying active, exploring new restaurants, attending concerts, and spending time with family and friends.
I've always known I wanted to help people make confident financial decisions—and I didn't have to look far for inspiration. Growing up in Quincy, I watched my dad, Rich Marcolla, build meaningful relationships with clients and guide them through life's financial milestones. That early exposure to the industry shaped my values and sparked a passion for planning that feels both personal and purposeful.
After earning my undergraduate and master's degrees in accounting from the University of Missouri, I spent several years in St. Louis working as a CPA and manager at KPMG. That experience gave me a strong foundation in tax-aware planning and business strategy, which I now bring to my role as a Team Financial Advisor at Merrill.
I'm proud to be working alongside my dad and joining a team that's deeply rooted in the community. Together, we help families, professionals, and business owners create financial strategies that support their goals—whether that's saving for college, planning for retirement, or navigating a major life transition.
