While living in the City of Evanston, Lisa was a five year Mayoral Appointee to the City of Evanston, Housing & Community Development Act Committee. She has served on the Economic Development Task Force, for United States Congressman, Honorable Danny K. Davis, 7th Congressional District. Lisa has appeared as a guest speaker on Chicago's ABC affiliate mid day news program with her strategies for "Teens and Summer Savings"
Lisa received her Bachelors Degree in International Business and Marketing from Howard University and a MBA in Finance, International Business and Marketing from Loyola University. She has served 10 years in the US Army and her financial services experience spans over two decades. Lisa is registered with FINRA and licensed to engage in the business of insurance. She has earned her certification to offer Alternative Investments and holds the Portfolio Manager title. A Portfolio Manager can help clients pursue their objectives by managing on a discretionary basis her own personalized or defined strategies, which may incorporate individual stocks and bonds, Merrill model portfolios, and third-party investment strategies.
Lisa joined Merrill in 2000 and continues to promote financial literacy by volunteering to teach, and host local as well as national financial seminars, workshops and forums.
