Patrick is a Senior Financial Advisor in the Downtown Chicago office. Prior to joining Merrill in 2013, Patrick had been co-managing equity and fixed income portfolios for high-net-worth families and business owners since 2006 at Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney. He has the same experience counseling business owners, corporate executives and wealthy families in the areas of wealth and retirement planning, hedging and monetization, asset allocation and alternative investments. He began his career as a Consulting Group Analyst at Smith Barney in 2006 and immediately took on various portfolio management duties. Patrick earned his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa and has completed advanced training from the CFA^® Institute and the Investment Banking Institute of Chicago.

Patrick works with high net-worth families and individuals, helping them preserve and grow their wealth over time using a Planning Process focused on goals-based wealth management. He strives to achieve market returns while minimizing risk throughout his client's portfolios.

Patrick grew up in Mount Prospect, Illinois and holds a degree in finance from the University of Iowa. He is active member of the CFA^® Society of Chicago. He is also actively involved with Special Children’s Charities, PAWS Chicago, After School Matters and St. Alphonsus Church of Chicago. He holds series 7 and 66 FINRA registrations as well as Life, Health, and Variable Insurance.
