Profile

Philosophy: Brad takes into account each client’s ‘human capital’—the skills, experience and attributes that influence their financial potential—to recommend the wealth management strategies he believes will correlate well with the way they accumulate and maintain their wealth. He is committed to helping clients pursue financial goals in a way that looks beyond their current assets to what they can achieve. 


Experience:  Brad launched his career with Gelber Group, a prominent Chicago trading firm, in 2011. He joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2016 after four years as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley.  Brad is dedicated to building long-term client relationships, and he anticipates helping clients transfer wealth to the next several generations.           


Approach: Brad describes himself as a “hands-on” advisor who strives to be available and attentive to clients’ service needs.  He enjoys educating clients about their finances and looks forward to conversations about their wealth management concerns.   


Designations: Brad is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certificant, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.  He also holds the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, CDFA® professional designation.


Community service: Brad has run the Chicago marathon to raise funds for the Lake Shore Animal Shelter and Back on My Feet, an organization that assists homeless people in achieving independence.  He previously served on the advisory board of Back on My Feet.  Brad also volunteers with the Chicago chapter of the National Tourette Syndrome Association and has helped plan the organization’s annual golf fund-raiser.  


Personal interests: Raised in Colorado, Brad enjoys the outdoors and especially mountain sports. He is an avid golfer as well as a marathon runner.   
 

Education: Brad earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University.
