Laura joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2022 and has over fifteen years of experience in the financial services industry.  Her focus is on helping clients achieve their goals by providing financial planning and investment guidance for individuals, their families, and their businesses.  Laura is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^™ professional.  She is a graduate of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with dual bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Accountancy.  She and her husband, Dan, live in Davenport, Iowa with their daughter. 
Laura is very involved in addressing early childhood literacy and poverty issues in her community.  Laura currently serves on the Davenport Public Library Board of Trustees.  Previously she served as President of Friends of Davenport Library.  She is a Past-President of Junior League of the Quad Cities, a nonprofit organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing leadership skills, and improving their community.  She has also served on United Way allocation committee helping the organization allocate grant funds to local not for profits.  She is committed to financial literacy volunteering for Junior Achievement for more than a decade.
