Rob joined Merrill in 1996 as a member of the team started by his father, Joe Stoll, now retired. He is proud to continue a family tradition of developing close client relationships with families, individuals and business owners. Rob begins each relationship by listening carefully to learn all that he can about clients’ current circumstances and future financial goals. Then, he helps them design and implement approaches to pursue their wealth management objectives. 

Rob sees each relationship as an opportunity to educate clients about the importance of retirement income planning and taking steps to fund college educations for their children. He can provide access to the investment insights of Merrill and banking convenience of Bank of America to help clients address multiple aspects of their financial lives. At the client’s request, he can also coordinate with their attorneys, accountants and other professionals. 

Rob grew up in Guam. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in international business at Seattle University, he returned to the island and started his financial career at a local bank. He likes living and working in a close-knit community where he often sees clients outside the office. Rob is active with Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Rotary Club of Guam. When time permits, he enjoys a round of golf. He and his wife, Amber, have two young daughters.
